Don’t buy this saw!! I just spent three hours cutting down two twenty foot trees. The chain tension knob is made out of plastic and stripped out before I had dropped the first tree. The chain popped off the bar five times which damaged the chain and housing. I had to dismantle the tension housing and turn the inside gears by hand to get the chain tightened. After a few cuts the chain loosens up again. This thing is dangerous and should be recalled!!
How does a Poulan chainsaw bar and chain oiler work?
My Poulan 245 Pro is not Poulan Chainsaw Es300 getting oil to the chain. Tried to clean but no luck. What mechanism forces the oil to lubricate the bar? Do you know the repair method? Thanks to all.

why the chain does not turn on a chainsaw?
I have a poulan chainsaw #1950 Some times the engine works, but the chain Poulan Chainsaw Engine Disassembly will not turn. Now It won’t turn at all. I was thinking that it my be the clutch. If that is the problem, is it hard to find the part locally and is it hard to replace it?What other think can it be?I live in Charlotte NC.

Poulan pro wood shark -bigger guide bar?-?
Is it possible to put a bigger guide bar on my poulan Poulan Chainsaw Carburetor Tool pro wood shark chainsaw? I heard it would burn up the carburetor if I attempt to, will it? It currently is equipped with the standard 14″ bar, if I can go bigger, how much, maybe only a 16″?
