I have had this saw for over a year and it still has plenty of power and cuts well. Great price and the saw looks cool. You might as well look good while you are working. It has never failed to start afrer a few cranks and runs well after it gets warmed up. Approved by YODA.
Poulan Chainsaw is getting spark and fuel but wont start?
I have a Poulan chainsaw and it Poulan Chainsaw P4018wt Parts is getting spark as I tested with my spark tester. I just recently rebuild the carburetor. I spray starting fluid in it and it still work even kick over. What do you think is wrong?

Intek V-twin 25 HP Briggs and Stratton Lawn Tractor?
I have damaged something internally on this 25 hp Engine, I was told that it was acting as if I cracked an exhaust valve. Be that as it may, I can not find any small engine repair kits for this engine. Its a Poulan Order Poulan Chainsaw Parts Online Pro 48 in. Mower And all I can find for numbers are as follows( “YBSXS.7242VF ” and “274844″ these numbers appear on a decal on the engine and all it says is ” important engine information ???)MOD:445777TYPE: 0168-EICODE: 031106YGI went to the briggs and stratton website and these numbers dont seem to follow any catagory in there directory. Does anyone have a web address to order repair engine parts for this particular engine. It’s practically a motorcycle engine just laying down. Help the grass is getting deep.

I’m a casual user and for around the house after the storms its made cleanup a breeze. Compared to similar makes my friends have its by far the best, but I won’t tell them that. Observations are it’s a little heavy and I was lead to believe it had the quick chain tensioning feature which it did not.
blue switch or solenoid on Husqvarna chainsaw?
I was cleaning the air filter on a 246 Husqvarna chainsaw ,theres a half round blue switch or Husqvarna Chainsaw Vs Poulan Chainsaw solenoid under the filter right to the left of the choke lever.This half round blue box or switch or whatever has a red wire running to the coil.Can anybody tell me what this is and what its for?Ive worked on lots of saws,but never saw one of these before.Thanks for any help.

Well, I can’t review this product, because this is not the product I received. Apparently, Poulan discontinued it. So Ben Franklin took it upon themselves to send me a completely different product. Then charged my credit card with the original amount. I returned the incorrect product right away and almost a month later, have still not gotten a credit on my credit card. So I’ve been paying interest on a product I didn’t order, didn’t want, and returned.
I’ve ordered many things online through Amazon, and never had a problem. But I will never do business with Ben Franklin again.
How does a Poulan chainsaw bar and chain oiler work?
My Poulan 245 Pro is not Poulan Chainsaw Bars Poulan Pro getting oil to the chain. Tried to clean but no luck. What mechanism forces the oil to lubricate the bar? Do you know the repair method? Thanks to all.

Guys, be honest with yourselves: how are you really going to use a chainsaw? If you’re eyeing a high-end Husqvarna or Echo because that’s what the lumberjacks and arborists use, I hear you. I love pro-grade tools, too. With chainsaws, though, you don’t necessarily get what you pay for.I’ve used gas chainsaws. They’re great for felling, limbing and bucking whole trees in places where electricity is unavailable or inconvenient. These days, though, I use a chainsaw no more than once or twice a year, usually for some little job that’s just barely beyond the capabilities of a bow saw. When those jobs come up, I can whip out my electric Poulan, finish the work, and put the saw away before you’ve even gotten the choke set on your gas saw.That’s not to say that this saw won’t handle a big job. It will. I had a couple of huge oaks taken down last winter, and saved a bunch of money by telling the arborists to do a “cut and run” – just drop the trees, chip the small brush, and leave the big logs
Poulan pro wood shark -bigger guide bar?-?
Is it possible to put a bigger guide bar on my poulan Poulan Chainsaw Carburetor Rebuild pro wood shark chainsaw? I heard it would burn up the carburetor if I attempt to, will it? It currently is equipped with the standard 14″ bar, if I can go bigger, how much, maybe only a 16″?
