Finally, and it works. After two false starts — an electronic chipper and an electronic shredder — I finally received the chipper and shredder in one machine. It does the job! At last a product that meets my desire to shred the leaves and small branches that I am ready to mulch from my 6th story balcony garden.
taking apart a mcculloch powermac 310 chainsaw?
well i had to fix the crankshaft in my mcculloch and i got it fixed and i was wondering if i need to replace the polyurethane McCulloch Chainsaw Em450s gasket at the bottom.and also when i was taking it apart i had to smash apart the chain oiler (i didnt need it as i was using my chainsaw for something else) to gain access to the 4 bolts that hold the crankshaft in. So i was wondering if it will run right after i replace the gasket and now that the oilier is gone?

McCulloch Chainsaw Em450s
I have used oregon chains and bars for years. They have always tended to be of average or better quality. I was quite supprised that Oregon would allow their name of such a poorly engineered and shoddy product. When the guide is set up exactly as per instructions, the chain guide will not allow the chain to pass through the clamps. Had I bought this thing locally, it would have gone back the next day. Rather than go through all the return hassels through Amazon, I just decided to chalk it up to experience and eat it. I have decided that it is better to just pay a little more and buy some things locally than to buy from Amazon, sigh unseen and end up with a useless peice of crap. Save your $40 and just buy a plain old round file and hand guide. You will do a better job of sharpening and save some money too.
McCulloch 2-stroke chainsaw won’t start?
This chainsaw hasn’t been running for at least 10 years. The carb has been cleaned out and everything but it will not start. I haven’t tried it for Chainsaw Parts McCulloch months now but i believe it wasn’t getting any spark whatsoever. Maybe its the ignition or magneto thing? That part of the engine isn’t my specialty but i’ve been told my points might need sanding? I think i have to take the flywheel off to do so correct me if i’m wrong. And also could this have to do with the gap between the flywheel and the magneto if thats what its called?

Guys, be honest with yourselves: how are you really going to use a chainsaw? If you’re eyeing a high-end Husqvarna or Echo because that’s what the lumberjacks and arborists use, I hear you. I love pro-grade tools, too. With chainsaws, though, you don’t necessarily get what you pay for.I’ve used gas chainsaws. They’re great for felling, limbing and bucking whole trees in places where electricity is unavailable or inconvenient. These days, though, I use a chainsaw no more than once or twice a year, usually for some little job that’s just barely beyond the capabilities of a bow saw. When those jobs come up, I can whip out my electric Poulan, finish the work, and put the saw away before you’ve even gotten the choke set on your gas saw. That’s not to say that this saw won’t handle a big job. It will. I had a couple of huge oaks taken down last winter, and saved a bunch of money by telling the arborists to do a “cut and run” – just drop the trees, chip the small brush, and leave the big logs
Poulan pro wood shark -bigger guide bar?-?
Is it possible to put a bigger guide bar on my poulan Poulan Chainsaw Carburetor Rebuild pro wood shark chainsaw? I heard it would burn up the carburetor if I attempt to, will it? It currently is equipped with the standard 14″ bar, if I can go bigger, how much, maybe only a 16″?
