I bought a new cub cadet chain saw so I thought I would get an extra chain. Amazon was pushing this one. Well when it came the box was different than the one shown, but the number was the same. When I went to put it on the chain was an inch too long. So I went to the local hardware store and looked at the oregon box….CUB CADET IS NOT EVEN LISTED ON THE BOX. The picture they show is either old or photo shopped. As i took so long to need it i am stuck with it. Thanks Amazon!

Well, I can’t review this product, because this is not the product I received. Apparently, Poulan discontinued it. So Ben Franklin took it upon themselves to send me a completely different product. Then charged my credit card with the original amount. I returned the incorrect product right away and almost a month later, have still not gotten a credit on my credit card. So I’ve been paying interest on a product I didn’t order, didn’t want, and returned.
I’ve ordered many things online through Amazon, and never had a problem. But I will never do business with Ben Franklin again.
How does a Poulan chainsaw bar and chain oiler work?
My Poulan 245 Pro is not Poulan Chainsaw Bars Poulan Pro getting oil to the chain. Tried to clean but no luck. What mechanism forces the oil to lubricate the bar? Do you know the repair method? Thanks to all.

The machine looks nice, but don’t let looks fool you, this edger is VERY VERY hard to start, then when it finally starts it shuts off, then quess what ? start pulling rope all over again, the handle is attached by only a wing nut, the handle goes all over the place, very uncomfultable to use. Ones after a couple of hours when it does start, it cuts all right, I understand is a small engine, but this edger, stops cutting if you cut more then three pieces of grass together. Is a nice looking piece of equipment, but dont let looks fool you like they did me, its not worst the price, next time I will spend a little more and get a real edger, NOT A TONKA TOY
whats wrong with my stihl 038 magnum chainsaw?
Got it back from a guy that worked on it, he put a new carb in and some small stuff and when it ran it was trying to die and cut out and after 30 mins wouldn’t fire I took it apart to look at the simple stuff, I found in the air filter there is this plastic spacer on a spring and it wasn’t put in right, the spring wasn’t in the cotter pin so it wasn’t letting the carb get air, it starts and runs great but as soon as I put pressure on the saw when cutting a tree it tries to die, I let off it reeves and sounds healthy but as soon as the play with the Stihl Smaller handle to motor is compressed the motor tries to cut out every time. What do you think this is? And where do I rip into the saw to find and fix the prob or would it be better to take it to the local stihl dealer?i ripped into it last night, looking for a reason that it was cutting out, i knew before i started looking that it could only be 1 of 2 things because as i said i got it to run great just cuts when the handle is compressed to the engine. i knew it had to be a pinched fuel line or wire shorting out, after 2 hours of looking and taking the saw apart i found the smallest bit of insulation in the ground wire exposed so i raped that wire in electrical tape and re routed it better so it comes nowhere close to the cylinder head and it runs great the only thing was the plastic spacer and shorted wire, no parts just time diagnosing the saw. this was my first saw that i have worked on, i am very mechanical with HVAC and quads but if you have a basic understanding of combustion and remembering how to put it back together the way you took it apart than do as i did and find the prob yourself, a lot cheaper than paying a stihl dealer to work on the saw. remember you need oxygen, fuel and spark for c
