The bar seems to be fine, no problems. I wasn’t as impressed with the blade that came with it. It dulled really quick. I am cutting dead wood cleaning up my woods and the chisel blades seem to last longer with this type of cutting. I’ll sharpen the blade and use it on softer woods. But like I said the bar seems well made.

husqvarna, craftsman, or homelite chainsaw?
I have been reading reviews but still can’t decide. Any Homelite Chainsaw Bar Oiler help would be greatly appreciated. I had a craftsman 18in. bar chainsaw but the crankshaft broke and so I am debating whether or not to buy another craftsman or to switch to husqvarna or homelite.

Chainsaw newbie?
I just got a used Echo 500vl chainsaw. I don’t know much about chainsaws and paid $50 for it. It starts and stays running but the chain will continue to spin while the saw is idling. Isn’t it supposed to stop spinning? Did I get Echo Chainsaw Chain ripped off?Edit to add: Went back and got $15 back. So $35 for the saw in the end. I figure I can take it somewhere and get it fixed. How much would a new clutch cost w/ labor?Edit to add: Went back and got $15 back. So $35 for the saw in the end. I figure I can take it somewhere and get it fixed. Chainsaw stalls when giving it gas?
I bought a 20” Echo CS-520 chainsaw last summer and recently I brought it out to start some outside work, it started fine and I got through some trees and refilled, Echo Chainsaw Fuel Line thats when it started acting strange. It idles fine, but whenever I give it gas it starts to die out and full gas causes it to stall. I’ve checked the air filter, screen, and fuel filter and all looks ok.. I tried playing with the H/L on the carb, but still it has the problem. Any help would be great, as this has been driving me crazy especially since its practically brand new. Thanks.
