Bought this McCulloch electric chainsaw to replace an old Craftsman electric chain saw. (the Craftsman got ran over by a car)
Compared to my old Craftsman electric chain saw, the McCulloch seems to be wonderful. The first test was to cut a 16″ diameter oak branch, cut thru it like hot butter. The “no tools needed” chain tensioner seems to be a good design (design seems to be similar to that used by other manufacturers).
Assuming this thing keeps cutting/running the same way in the long term, then we have a winner.
(note: all the electric chain saws come with cheap looking chains with cutting blades spaced very widely apart along the chain. To be ready for the bigger cutting jobs I sprung for a new $18 Oregon 16″ chain, which has not been mounted yet.)
I am looking for a parts diagram of a Mcculloch PM610 chainsaw?
If anybody knows where to find a McCulloch Chainsaw Electramac Parts parts “breakdown” diagram for a Mcculloch PM610 it would be greatly appreciated, I understand it is Pretty hard to find parts for older Mcculloch saws so any help would be appreciated. thanks

Quick shipping, I received the item in 4 days, but I didn’t get any tracking info until after the item arrived. It seem it was not being shipped and suddenly it was there. The sprocket is exactly what I needed, finally, after carefully searching for the right one and sending one back! Thanks! Now if I can find the bar, I’ll be happy.
Any one have any idea where to get tech specs on a homelite model 300 chainsaw online?
I’m looking at buying one, want to know what size it was, years it was manufactured, etc. I can find information on almost any other chainsaw, but this one..help!

Echo Chainsaw Parts is exactly what they say it is. You will never regret it; Echo Chainsaw Parts is really amazing.
Environmentalist Dream In 2 Parts?
Ok, im 13 years 6 months, and i have very strong views on the environment and god and subjects like thatim vegetarian and have been for 8-9 yearsi don’t believe in godim very environment and believe that the environment should be saved at almost any cost. so, the dream, Part 1I left my house, and walked down my road to an adjoining road (that exists in reality too). all the houses and everything are identical to reality. so i walk down the adjoining road then turn off to my right down a road (non existent in real life) and pass by the houses on either side. just behind the houses is a huge expanse of perfectly green grass. This stretches on for miles in all directions. I fly forward across the expanse of grass and arrive to a sheer drop of about 200 metres straight down. directly below me is grass but about 100 metres infront of the bottom of the drop is the start of an immense forest (sequoia’s?). the trees are huge, well beyond the size of normal trees. their tops reach Echo Chainsaw Parts to about the height of my feet (im still at the top of the drop). There is a tree house at the very top of one of the trees about 50 metres into the forest. I shout my name and hear the echo twice. that was part one. I dreamt that i think about 6 days ago. Part two. I dreamt this the night before last. It repeats the first dream but after i shout my name i look down the drop and i see yellow bulldozers and men with chainsaws cutting the trees down. then i appear find myself beside the bulldozers and im yelling and yelling at the workers to stop but they take no notice. one of them calls “bring in the chainsaw” and one comes with a massive chainsaw, 5 times the size of normal chainsaws. then i run into the wood. i find myself infront of the door to the treehouse knocking on the door. A large woman appears holding a shotgun. she shoulders past me, cocking the shotgun, and starts muttering something about the b*st*rd workmen. Left in the doorway is one of the guys in my class. hes small and doesnt really have very certain views on the environement. we get on pretty well but hes a bit of a loner, not really got any friends other than me. so he looks down at his shoes shamefully and apologises for his “mum”, the woman with the shotgun. its not like his mother in reality. I come in and stand in the “hallway” of the treehouse which is identical to the hallway of my own house except instead of plaster walls there’s wood. then the dream ends. Plz help! i dont know what any of this means. im passionate about the environement but i wouldnt ever hurt anyone over it. im a very sort of gentle person.Answer to first question-I just dont see how there can be some huge intellectual being of some kind up there watching us. and i dont see what god doesWhat created flowers/birds/humans is easy. evolution. we have so much proof that evolution happened. and if god’s so powerful then how come he doesnt get rid of the devil? and why does the devil rule our world?oh no, another person saying the world is gonna end. ITS NOT!

I just bought a Homelite chain saw at Home Depot. It lasted for an hour on a big tree I was cutting then just died. Before it died, the chain flew off four times even when it was tight. Also, the muffler is in a bad spot and I burnt my finger trying to fix the chain. Needless to say, it went back to Home Depot and I purchased a Echo chain saw. Works like a dream. It was an extra 100 bucks but you can tell and see the difference in quality and performance. Also the muffler is hidden and it is super easy to handle. Also quiet. Lesson learned again. Do not be a cheap skate. Pay the extra money and get the better quality item.

Don’t buy this saw!! I just spent three hours cutting down two twenty foot trees. The chain tension knob is made out of plastic and stripped out before I had dropped the first tree. The chain popped off the bar five times which damaged the chain and housing. I had to dismantle the tension housing and turn the inside gears by hand to get the chain tightened. After a few cuts the chain loosens up again. This thing is dangerous and should be recalled!!
