I bought several to fit all my saws, I like the universal fit, just cut off to fit smaller saws, simple and easy and works well

has anyone replaced the sprocket in the guide bar of their chainsaw ?
I bought a new bar a month ago for one Chainsaw Bars of my saws and the sprocket in the end of the bar broke yesterday. I never replaced a sprocket and wonder if you can fix it or if I need to buy a new bar.this is not the drive spocket, it’s the one in the nose of the bar.

I bought a new cub cadet chain saw so I thought I would get an extra chain. Amazon was pushing this one. Well when it came the box was different than the one shown, but the number was the same. When I went to put it on the chain was an inch too long. So I went to the local hardware store and looked at the oregon box….CUB CADET IS NOT EVEN LISTED ON THE BOX. The picture they show is either old or photo shopped. As i took so long to need it i am stuck with it. Thanks Amazon!

Halloween chainsaw without chain question?
For halloween I am taking the chain off my chainsaw and chasing kids around with Stihl Oil it.Should I drain the chain oil, (the lubricant that lubricates the chain on the bar) so it doesn’t make a mess? Otherwise wouldn’t it try to oil nothing since there is no chain? It is a Stihl mid-range user model. Thanks for any help!!

The saw works well. It cuts modersate size branches. The vibration is not bad,nor is ita heavypiece of equipment. If you want something for light pruning without a wire this might just be the thing for yo. Note it does not come with chain oil which you will need to get beofre you use it.

Is it necessary to have a certain file guide for a chainsaw chain?
I bought a file (13/64ths) for my Stihl chainsaw Chainsaw and now I need the guide. Stihl sells their kit for $20 but Lowes sells kits for $8. If I have the right size file, is there any guide that is somewhat universal, or do I have to pay for the Stihl brand guide and kit?

Oregon is probably the best chainsaw chain found anywhere, but do shop around for a better price and customer service. This brand chain can be found almost everywhere in the USA either on-line or at a saw/garden shop.

Does anyone know the part number for an oil fill cap,for a 026 stihl chainsaw ? I Stihl Chainsaw Parts Illustration lost my book thank you?
I know this is a tough question, I could use the help thanks,my book has been misplaced… probobly with the plug….
