I’m a casual user and for around the house after the storms its made cleanup a breeze. Compared to similar makes my friends have its by far the best, but I won’t tell them that. Observations are it’s a little heavy and I was lead to believe it had the quick chain tensioning feature which it did not.

Can I put a before 2006 chain and bar on my 2007 husqvarna 142 chainsaw?
it’s a 16 inch saw. When I go to buy a new chain the package says for models before 2006 on all that they have.

I owned a Ryobi unit which used a reciprocating saw trimmer. It got jammed and the gears stripped. Can’t get these any more. This unit works pretty well and the chain saw idea is pretty good. Mine had the chain tensioned too tight for my Ryobi and I had a tough time keeping the unit running without stalling the motor. After loosening the chain tension it worked much better. The strap is kind of useless and I can tell you your arms will get tired so take your time. Since you are always looking up here are some important safety tips: DON’T WORK ALONE, USE TIGHTLY SEALED SAFETY GOGGLES, BE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD FOOTING AND A CLEAR PATH TO MOVE QUICKLY IF THINGS START GOING WRONG. When you store the unit put in in a tray of some type since the chain cutting oil leaks when not in use. Very happy so far.

can i replace a broken trigger off a chainsaw?
I got a remington Pole Chainsaw pole saw electric chainsaw. I broke the trigger so yeah. Do they sell those at like menards or lowes or is the saw ruined now?

This is an excellent saw for light duty work, I use it for tending to apple and pear trees and the occasional cleanup after a storm. It is big enough for light firewood tasks, but is underpowered for large hardwood pieces. The first thing you should do is buy a Stihl chain for it as the factory Oregon (who makes the husky chains) is a skip link design, featuring fewer cutting teeth and dulls quickly.

In the event that you do remove the side covere with the brake on, which is comparatively difficult, you can make a three prong socket to reset the tension spring. This works much better than chasing a spring around the shop. Your local Husqvarna dealer has a reset tool that they can show you. Lowes might sell Husqvarna, but until they have a parts counter they are not a dealer in my opinion.

I bought this saw for my husband because I felt he needed a lighter weight saw since he uses one quite a bit on the farm and he isn’t getting any younger. He immediately tried out the saw (he was used to a 21″ cutting bar) and loeved it. To use his words”That saw cut through those trees like butter. He used it to clear fallen trees off our 375 acre farm and to do the “gin” work around our home. We had a very bad ice storm last winter and had many down trees to saw up to be moved. He loves the power and how easy it starts. He said to rate this 5 stars at least!

Which chainsaw is better and why for 1 ac forested lot? – Husqvarna, Poulan, Echo, Homelite, Sthl,?
Sure pick Stihl. Even for someone who knows nothing about chainsaws, that brand just appears to be superior. My request is not Husqvarna Chainsaw Logging to simply pick the best but rather to understand why one is better than the other. After all, machining of the components and motor technology are not what one would view as new stuff.ThanksThanks Cat and Summer for your insight. I have also learned that both Stihl and Husq have much bigger engines (more powerful and heavier). It makes sense that the wear and tear would be greater on a Poulan than on a Stihl/Husq. … but for third-half the price …

Bought this item from an Amazon listed seller for far less cheaper than what was actually listed on Amazon (go figure?). Noticed that Amazon doesn’t list this seller anymore LOL. While this thing was as strong if not more so than my old Echo 210, it is a bit lighter, louder, and the vibration is a bit more. Start up is a breeze (only one or two pulls), but sometimes during the initial pull, it would stall before the engine warms up. The stock line that came with it is actually pretty strong. I’ve only had to use the bump trimmer head feature 1 or 2 times during every hour of use for additional line. I’ve only used this for about a month so far but love it! My old Echo lasted me a good 8 years, and I’m hoping this Husky will last me the same if not longer, considering the price (over 200 bucks). PROS: Very strong (will cut through small plants and tree bark easily); considerably light; starts very easily; Bump-head feature for more line is very nice and easy. CONS: Not very

Husqvarna has a fluffy flowers collection. I want to digitize these in Embird?
Secrets of embroidery has a tutorial Husqvarna 345e Chainsaw to do this in PE design, but I use Embird and don’t want to spend the money on something that I still need to figure out how to use on my software. Please give me some detailed instructions or websites that can help me.
